Does it seem right that Reed is racing his own supercross. Like shooting fish in a barrel. I'm sure he is doing it so he doesn't have to pay for first place or the money goes back to him.

Yeah the only reson he's racing it is because he won't have to fork over a couple of thou for first place, especially when he's probably already bank rolled about a million of his own money to get sx up and running in Aus. your a tool

he said in an interview that the series is banking off his good name. he is the 2nd highest paid aussie athlete ever. him winning his own money, and making money from sponsorships and future money from the series in years to come. Reed is making bank, he markets himself well and has always played his cards right.

And didnt MC put on his own SX race? It just seems like to me that the top riders give back to the sport by making their own races during the off season so we have something to talk about. Man Reed is such a bad guy for loving what he does.

That would be hilarious if Stewart showed up and took home the loot.

I'm not just bashing on Reed. I didn't agree with McGrath either. This has nothing do to with Reed bashing. Just simple logic if your a race promoter on big race you don't race. But maybe that's just me.

Would you know anything about this race if Chad wasn't racing it? I probably wouldn't have.

A series with Chad Reed racing is going to get a lot more fans in attendance than a series that Daniel Reardon is the headline athlete.... Its not about him not wanting to pay out winnings, its about the series being successful or failing.

When I was 10,I laid out a bicycle MX course and got my neighborhood kids to pay $1 to race. I won the race but took no money and paid the next 3 guys. They thought it was great!........except for the last 3 guys who got nothing.Unsure They still had fun though and no parents called my house complaining.

So what...I won my own race, and never did a lap of practice. I just entered, and won...
And I did it on a bike I rode for the first time on the way to starting line.
I got the holeshot, led every lap, and won. It happens.

Great Idea to be ready for supercross also. Racing makes great practice. I'm glad he is doing it.

How can you say that?

Last week there was some serious conversation about the color of JBS rims. Doesn’t get any more “core” than that.

Exactly. We need some sort of standardized entrance exam.
