I'm a biased cobra dealer so take it for what it' worth.

If the kid gets fast, you're going to want a Cobra. When we got into dealing cobras I heard all the nightmare stories about the older models. I've been at Ponca City since Saturday doing track side Cobra support, For the most part I've twiddled my thumbs. I've sold $0 in parts, the new bikes hold up really well.

this little cobra sat in my garage for 10 years. Its an 2002 model. I sold it two weeks ago for 400.00. 60cc kit and a 24mm carb. It would still be competitive today.

2. Of course it depends on the child but is it a good idea to put a 5/6 year old on a 2 stroke rocket or is it better and safer to restrict their speed with a less capable bike at that age?
1, Thanks, I wouldn't miss this for nothing. I'm a fairly young granddad (43) so it's like I get to be a child again for the 3rd time. I'm having a blast. He is basically still getting the handle of things. Like I said he will stay on this bike til at least the end of the year. I'm just trying to educate myself early on.

2. According to my wife, NO. but she said the same thing when I got our boys into racing. Seriously, I'm not sure for real.
