Cam wear= garbage?

Crank assembly - $380.00
Cylinder - $259.00

The bike is worth about $1700- $1800 in good, running condition.

The three main components needed for a proper rebuild total right at $1700, without all of the other components you would need to do it right.

They were not the most reliable bike, even when new. If you are not into it too deep money wise already, let it go.

youre not re using a crank after something went through the top end like that, all of the forces on top of the piston go straight down through that rod and affect the bearing as well. id be letting the bike go unless you get the same cost on parts that i do.

i just asked the guy and he said after he blew it he PUT in the new crank, then didnt have time to fix it! so its just a new crank now. i still slpit the case tho
