Motocrossmatrix.com is a free track directory for riders. It also has a free mobile app. The track directory has tracks listed from all over the country. We are working on making it the most up to date directory. Take the time out to look over it and let us know if we have missed a track in your area, and also let your local track owner know about us. Our system also has a race management program. Which has a real time feed incorporated in it. Now you can see your practice order, your race order, and your overall in each moto all in real time. This is where the mobile app comes into play. You can see all this info on your mobile device. You can also find tracks in you area on the mobile app. There is a two person lap counter built into the mobile app to compare lap times. We are doing this to help tracks bring more riders into their facilities, and keep riders up to date on events at their local tracks. I'm looking for races at Glen Helen and Milestone, two of the busiest tracks in the world, and there is one event for Glen Helen. No 6 hour, 12 hour, 24 hour races listed. No REM or SRA races. We could input those and get a real list going

As for riders adding races? That is what tracks are going to be doing. We are working on getting more and more tracks using it but things are going well so far. If we let the riders add races what will stop some people from adding fake stuff or wrong info?

I know this is probably up to the individual tracks or series promoters, but it would be nice to have which series/district is paying points at each event right on races tab with date so it is easy to skim and find event your looking for. Some tracks run multiple series in my location.
It would be nice to have app communicate with built in calender on phone so events that I mark will show up in my calendar.
It would also be nice to mark your favorite track or series and have automatic reminders/messages when events are added or nearing.
I can see this app making moves to all forms of motorcycle racing (harescrables, enduros). If it does a limit in the settings would be nice so a motocross rider does not have to look through all other events that he has no plan on doing.
I think this is a great idea if it catches on with track promoters. I am just a casual rider/racer who only gets to ride a couple times during summer do to college, because I do not follow religiously it can sometimes be difficult for me to find open practices and races easily. Normally I have to go to each local tracks website individually.

Yes we are adding many features to the app and site but not to much information as to make it difficult to use. Tonight the Android app gets an update also and will work even better. Also the track search page on the site has a map search and that is nice. Thank you for the input.
Socket946, The app is getting an update tonight because some new phones had some small bugs for the app. As for it lacking tons of information? What info? We can only provide the data we can find and getting tracks to add data as you know is very difficult. Most tracks as you say can't run a website let alone other tech stuff. However, the system is a track directory and that is what it does. Provides a list of tracks by state and by map. We have most of the contact info as well. Past that any other info would be unreliable as not all tracks update. Things like this take time my friend. We have time and will continue working with any track who wants to be improve and help provide their riders with better information!
