I remember a TV show before the last world cup ( 60 minutes, 48 hours or some related show) that delved into the racist shit that occurs at Euro football matches. Some of the best players in the world are black (or partial black, if that) yet their own teams fans yell derogatory, racist remarks at them the whole match. Real nice.

Any chance these hooligans that were throwing stuff at Stewart are of the same fabric as the asshole racists who attend your football matches in Europe?

No proof, just saying......

BTW, great to see Metcalfe rebound from a forgetable Moto 1 and come back to 3rd MX2 / 10th OA in Moto 2 so far.
I don't have a problem with any of the points here, except that you lot always refer to 'Europe'. It's made up of about 50 countries! It's made up of 100's of millions of people. You can't generalize that many people.

Thinking of the Euro club that you lot seem fascinated with, it's amazing how many riders in the final are not from Europe at all.

So i suppose , Australia, Japan, South Africa, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Canada and New Zealand all fall under the 'Euro' category? or do they just fall into the external category?
A "gut" feeling is American slang you lymie bastard, such as, I have a gut feeling you are an anti American ass hole that blames America for everything. I have traveled all over this world and the crap that Americans put up with abroad is astonishing to me..... Stewie getting stuff thrown at him doesn’t surprise me and that truly is unfortunate! We get accused of being arrogant Americans…. But who really are the ugly ones now?

Why can't we stop this bashing crap? I have done it myself, I am guilty but when I read this it bugs me. The Euro's are super-talented and fast...and so are the Americans. It's great that they (euros and Americans) can race together and I would like to see it more often. After all, don't we all love motocross? Look at Marc, when he came over -- he was great and is a super funny guy with a upbeat attitude. Stop bashing each other -- bash BobbyM instead, Poto did. Or better yet, bash that wigger Tyler Evans -- what a dummy.

From what I remeber of the story, it was mainly UK, German (skin heads) and Italian fans that were the worst of the bunch. Does that make you feel better? I know that my story was a generalization but you don't hear about that in the USA , especially in MX.

Also, I don't remember any stories of USA moto fans "attacking" riders from a different country during a moto. Who was it that lost a 500 GP Championship when he got whacked on the hand by a piece of fence while racing?

I agree, i think it's disgusting. But stop reffering to "'Euro's". If it was Germans, English and Italians, that would be slightly unfair on the large number of 'Euro's' which did nothing!

You're not the sharpest tool in the box are you?

For your reference, it's an English idiom. We did provide the language Smile

I'd like to apologise on behalf of the 30,000 + of us that were there and not throwing stuff onto the track. It was most likely one or two dickheads who were drunk and trying to show off to their mates - I can assue you that the majority of us find it absolutley discusting and take exactly the same view of it as you guys.

Despite all the crap that sometimes gets spouted off, all the true GP fans have a huge amount or respect for American riders and it was a privelage to see them race in England again. Villopoto and Stewart confirmed what we already knew - that they're by far the two fastest guys on the planet. They're are a class act (other than a few small hiccups) and a pleasure to watch, Ferrys not too bad for an old guy either! Wink

I don't know what it looked like on mediazone, but I had a fantastic weekend!
