Will Husky get a year to run works bikes in AMA races? I don't remember if the old Husky already did it, or even if the rule allowing the one year exemption still exists, a quick look at the 2014 SX rulebook found no mention of any exemptions.

in theory independent builders would be allowed an exemption rule, no? Husky went through several owner changes and more or less produces a limited amount of bikes. Hate to use Service Honda as an example (because everyone throws AJs name around..) but they would be able to enter a "works" bike if they sold a certain amount of bikes per year, no?

Does this mean they can run a prototype? Or is it just bassicly giving them a chance to proof their worth without having to sell a certain amount of bikes?

Just like the Yammer in 97.

Either way, a Husky/KTM works bike isn't exactly the same as a Jap works bike.
