I have to say, he handled everything about as perfectly as he could. He turned a lot of people into fans of his just by taking care of the situation. I agree that going off the way he did to begin with was not good, but it ended up leading to a positive end.

Ill be willing to be he didn't get paid much if at all for that commercial. May be one of those deals where just because he agrees with the cause he does the ad for free...

I thought I'd heard somewhere that the "compensation" for the Swedish Hospital endorsement was a donation to his charitable foundation, Blanket Coverage. Haven't seen any other reference to that, though, and it was on a radio program so it could have just been speculation.
