He was at Armstrong's press conference and was grilling about drug use. I have lost respect for him, he seems bitter.

There was a quasi documentry called the, "The Science of Lance" that had him with a heart efficiency that was off the charts. His physiology was other worldly.

I've heard stories about Lance from a couple of his U.S. Postal teammates. Days in France in early spring riding up L' Alpe-d'Huez in the cold, rain/sleet. The Postal team struggling to the top and then jumping in the team cars to warm up. Lance however, said, my time wasn't good enough, I'm doing it again! So he rode down and rode up it again. Solo! In the cold rain/sleet. That is what makes a champion, perseverence!

Hey Twizz you ever see Landis riding on PCH? He is there often. During the pre-season, teams will be out on the road all the time heading up or down.

I was friends of Harvey Nitz in High School at Sac High..think real first name was Leonard...anyways remember him saying how he knew this kid named LaMond and that he was so good that if he got with the right team would be the first U.S. rider to win the Tour.

Nitz was right. Greg won 3 Tours; should've been 4-6. Darn hunting accident.

I think Greg felt he never got the respect from Lance, who was known for being quite arrogant coming up the pro ranks of cycling.

Oh yeah, Nitz was an Olympian if I remember correctly; think he won a medal(s).

I remember Nitz, not personally. Lance was or is an arrogant person. As a 15 year old he beat the top Tri guys and was very arrogant about it.

LeMond, should have one more. You are correct. He also has gotten screwed in life many ways it seems. I just wish he would not keep up the anger publicly.
