supercross live gopro

So this has probably been brought up before but why dont they ever show live GoPro footage during the supercross races? They used to show live battles back in the day and with the advancement in technology you would think we would have awesome coverage from their point of view at every race.

Mxgp's do, quality is generally terrible and choppy. Not quite there yet I reckon . It'll happen when it can, without adding too much weight and size being the key.

I believe they talked about this on one of the Pulpmx show. Feld wants GoPro to pay them money for "advertising", and GoPro doesn't want to pay that much. I wish they would do it like MotoGP does, they have some killer angles. Also I believe GuyB had a pic at one of the rounds of Grants bike with multiple cameras attached to that for "testing" purposes for maybe next year.

You can't compare the picture quality of a GP race to a supercross race. Supercross is held in a stadium, not an open field. Wifi should be fairly strong at all parts of a SX track

I think this would be cool, but is there enough time in a SX race to cut away from the action to show a GoPro shot? I'm just thinking how bad their timing is with the "pass of the race."

Heres a million dollar idea, but the go pro needs to be free floating in a gel vinyl capsule or something so when something jars it, the camera itself feels no effects. free floating, yet on a weighted lever or something so it always maintains a upright position, except of course when the rider crashes.
