When did the Yamahas stop getting so much hate?

He re-signed because JGR convinced him they could get the bike to work better for him. I don't know why Big James wanted him to sign with JGR, that's why I said "I think". With hindsight James would probably say it was a stupid decision. He has already had better results on the Suzuki, 2nd in points and 5 wins. The bent bars from a crash and crushed header pipe at Daytona have him out of the championship.

When he crashed out of the FIRST race of the season it pretty much took him out of the championship. New season same old story, the only difference is he hasn't quit part way through the season this year. I even wanted Stewart to beat RV and win the championship I just don't think he can keep it on two wheels long enough to do it anymore.

Dude all you ever do is hate on JS7. Dude has kicked ass all year, and has been faster than my favorite rider RV. Crashing at A1 was not what blew it for him. Daytona is what did it. That was not his fault nor was it his fault when RD took him out or when hill ran into the back of him. Had those 3 things not happened he'd be right in it. RV has not been RV this year that's for sure. Your right he should of never went with JGR or Yamaha. He should of went with Suzuki from the start.
And if my aunt had balls she would be my uncle and if Alessi didn't get passed by half the field every time he gets the holeshot he would be leading too. No I don't hate on Stewart all the time, I hate on Alessi so get the story straight, I wanted to see Stewart win, but people blame the Yamaha when it wasn't the problem. During the first SX this year when Stewart was hauling everyone was saying the same thing, he will throw it away and he did. You could see it in the crowd, every one was saying "see I told you" I think the Suzuki is the best bike and he is winning again but he still throws it away way too much.I would like to see Stewart win the nationals but unless RV sits out I dont think he will win.

He crashed in 3 main events, RV crashed in 5.

Edit: To be more accurate, JS had 3 crashes in the main events, one was a takeout by Dungey.

RV had 5 main event crashes, one was a takeout by Dungey.

I think that is pretty good for both of them for as fast as they ride, JS 2 on his own, RV 4 on his own.

So how come no one is blaming the Kawasaki. When Stewart crashed it was because of the backward engine Yamaha but when RV crashes why isn't everyone calling it a pig ? RV was winning on the Kawasaki back when Reed was calling it a pig.

The facts are we don't know how good the bikes are when pushed to their limits, that's why I provided quotes from a few of the top riders that said it had some very strange issues when pushed. It would be hard to believe a bike could be that radically changed and still be ready for some of the top guys in the world. As Bailey said it would probably take a few years. I think they may have nailed now. That is not very many crashes for either guy, that is why nobody is calling their bikes pigs.
