nearly any popular main stream sport is a better choice than being a pro motorcycle racer

Any sports at the pro level is going to require damn good skills.
Yes Golf requires lots of precision and muscle control but in my opinion so does MX/SX.
All I can say is the mandatory reflexes to excel in MX are astonishing.
The body position and movements precision required to stay up right at today's pro level speed is mind blowing.
Adding in the endurance and cardiovascular factor makes Motocross a no slouch sport.

I agree that golf at a professional level is harder than motocross at a professional level. Not saying that MX is easy, but golf is such extreme precision and body control.
So your saying a triple, quad (that's 4 separate jumps), on-off, on-off, single onto a berm in the corner rhythm section, for 20 laps isn't?

Notice I said that in no way was I implying that MX/SX is easy, but to perform golf shots at the highest level requires a level of muscle precision that, in my eyes based on the vague term "harder", makes golf the more difficult sport. It's less physically demanding, but requires more mental/muscular skill to perform at the highest level.
I'm going to have to disagree. While I agree there is a lot of finesse in golf, it's really only critical with the grip.
Think of the combined wrist, ankle/knee, head and balance mental/muscular precision required to take off from a heavily rutted jump face correctly mid rhythm lane. There's so much going on that it has to be mostly sub conscious. They are too different to compare.

I'd say the muscular precision at any top level sport is on par, and that's what makes the best stand out.
