I used these years ago. Opinions? I just don't like the tech8 or the 10.

I recently got some Crossfires (after almost 10 years of Alpinestars), most comfortable boot I ever put my foot in. Zero break in time. How long they last is yet to be seen, but other folks I know who have them say they would never change to anything else.

I have a 3 year old pair of flex force SRS . I need some new soles but the boots are still in great shape. I will be a Sidi wearer as long as I can still ride .

Going on year 3 with my Crossfire TA's and aside from being a little less white than when they were new, they're holding up well. As others said, they are very comfortable with no break in. I would definitely recommend them and it seems that most folks are pretty happy with either the Sidi's or Gaerne's.

Nobody even mention the buckles. Easiest buckles I have ever used. Easy on and easy off. I just ordered some new ones and had to borrow some alpinestars and wanted to throw them due to the buckles. Guess I got spoiled. No beating the buckles to make them snap, just put the T in the groove and push them down. They must have them patented cause I have never seen anyone else with those style buckles. Bye them

Not trying to cock block the Sidi's.... but if you are in the market for new non-booty boots check out Gaerne SG 10....
I went from A-Star to SG-10 and they are by far the most comfortable boot I have ever had.
Not saying the Sidi's are not as good, but I would look into the SG-10 or the new SG-12 if you are shopping.

Love my Sidis. Rode with A-stars for a few years then switched to Sidis about 6 years ago. They last much longer and I find them more comfortable as well.

TCX, GAERNE, & SIDI are the best boots on the market period.

This is from Motonation's website:

What kind of Warranty do Sidi boots have?
All Sidi products have a two-year from purchase date warranty on workmanship and/or materials. Warrantee covers the original buyer only and is not transferable. If the item in question does fall under warranty Motonation, at its discretion, will cover the repair or replacement of the item. Crash damage or improper motorcycle starting procedures are NOT covered under warranty!

Motonation reserves the right to repair or replace, at our discretion, any valid warranty claim. All warrantee claims must be accompanied by a copy of the original invoice from where the item was purchased.

In addition to providing complete warranty repair or replacement for your item Motonation also offers comprehensive repair services at reasonable prices (cost varies with work required). This added service is helpful when you experience a difficulty that is not covered under warranty.

A Return Authorization Number is required in order for us to begin processing a warranty claim or repairing your item. To obtain an RA# or discuss a problem that you may be experiencing with your boots you may call us at 619-401-4100. You will be responsible for the cost of shipping the boots to us: If your problem is covered under warranty Motonation will pay for the return freight. It will be sent UPS Ground unless you request more immediate handling. Motonation will then charge the customer for the difference between UPS Ground and the requested handling.

Sure seems like if you had gotten an RMA the boots should have been under warranty.

Perhaps you should let everyone know the reasoning for their not covering them under warranty. Was it crash damage?

I did have an RMA.No crash damage. When the screws pulled thru the hole I hade to improvise by placing longer screws with bigger washers to get thru the weekend.I shipped the boots back to them like this.I was told that he could not get the screws out that I had put in.While I was on the phone with them I removed the screws myself and told him that I did.His response was that he couldn't get them out.He then shipped me another shin plate for me to install.I got the place about a week later. He shipped me a used plate and told me that it wasn't under warranty.I don't know why the screws pulled thru..he didn't crash while wearing them.
