Stewart was still sluggish @ A2 from being sick.

At their best they're mostly even. RV's probably got a little more that he's not currently showing...

But I still think Bubba has a talent for supercross that makes him special...MC-level special, at least, for sure.

Dont forget, Reed caught and passed James while James was sick at A2, so not sure that was a real "hunt".......Then the next week Stewart did the same in Oakland and A3 i forget where James was....

So what measure do you want to use? Practice? Races? The championship at the end of the year? Number of wins in a career? Number of championships in a career?
Weird. I thought JS was fastest at A1 up until he crashed. Cant argue with a media mogul though Cool

Fastest, right up until he hit the ground. Instead of a win or settling in for second, he finished 17th.

OP asks: So who is really the fastest SX rider.

I would have to agree with Guy B and say James Stewart as Guy says above, Fastest.

People take what they want to take out of posts.

Fastest doesn't do you any good unless you get the trophy, check, and points.

But still fastest. I thought the question was whos the fastest. Not who has the most championships or wins. Fastest is laptime based. Doesnt really matter where you finish. The fastest guy doesnt always win.

The question also wasn't about who was the most anal-retentive. But you win that one. Congrats. Smile

If based on who could get around a SX track the quickest you gotta say James Stewart.

He is IMO the most talented modern day SX rider, with JMB running a CLOSE second.

smegs dream SX race.............................All riders in their prime on modern day bikes................. MC, RC, JS, JMB and just to see, throw in Joel Robert. Robert because I am thinking he may have had as much or more natural talent as JS/JMB.

Maybe speak or criticize OP because he asked for FASTEST SX Rider.

Guy B you can add what ever you like and your smutty remarks when someone posts NOT agreeing with you. It doesn't change the FACT that James Stewart IS the Fastest. Nothing at all mentioned regarding crashing taking home the trophy, are you Uncle 2 as well.

Maybe you should stick to the topic like we are asked to do.

My smutty remarks? Okay.

You've been posting here a bit over four months. I've been around here for something over a dozen years. I started the forum as Motodrive quite a while ago. During that time we've had good times and bad, intelligent conversation with people who have more than a lick of common sense, and a bit of...well, what you see around here now.

What if someone that was regularly considered a lapper the fastest in the split-second before they hit the ground? Would that still count?

All this became is an argument for someone to get his rider named as the fastest. He's now happy.

And I feel dumber for having participated.

Since RV1 had the fastest lap time in STL, does that make him the fastest rider? Afterall, when he wins and James puts the fastest lap time down, the JS7 nutswingers are out in full force saying that he is the fastest!

Also when you're "Fastest man on the planet" you don't need 5 titles to prove it. It's he speed. Somehow i just don't get it when people say that rv is FMOTP.

You can't compare Main Event times to Heat race times. You also can't equate being the fastest to wins, bonuses, or points. See the story of the Tortoise and the Hare. Lastly, if you actually want to argue that James has not been the fastest rider this season so far then you aren't being honest with yourself.

Carry on.

You're right P...you can only compare those things, when it benefits James...

BTW, the fastest guy of this season is leading the points.

Carry on with your blinders.

No, you can never compare Heat race times and Main event times.

Also, if anyone knows about blinders it's you. BTW, you know those things are for horses don't you. You probably look a little funny walking around with them too.

Don't think James is struggling for checks GuyB. Hate to say it but your statement does not pertain to the argument. The debate is who is the fastest. You even insinuate that Stewart is the fastest in your post. If you want to argue who is the better champion that is another debate.

Post a reply to: So who is really the fastest SX rider..
