The dogs heard the 3.6 that came a few minutes before it and started barking. I went to check out front and no one was there or in the alley. Then I went back to the toilet and luckily it hit before I started pooping. Got up, yelled for gf to come to the door and we stood there, with my pants half down.

I felt 2-3 seconds of mild shaking then 3 seconds of increased, loud shaking. We are in Pomona. Closer you get to the epicenter, the shorter and stronger it is...

Anyone else?

I probably shouldn't because people can get hurt but I dig earthquakes! Here in Orange it was pretty good. Now the thought did cross my mind (as I am in the middle of selling my house) that this thing better not fall over before I can sell it.

I grew up in San Diego, and never really minded them (slept through Northridge in '94). That all changed on March 11, 2011. Now I can't stand them.

I understand now. Makes sense to me. "8 feet to the east"!!!!!!!!! That is incredible. Try not to think about it too much but geologically speaking we are in such a brief moment in time and big things happen.

I was in Walnut when the Chino Hills earthquake hit in Summer of 2008. That one was the most violent I have ever felt. I was in a classroom at MTSAC and at the beginning it just rolled and everyone looked around at each other just like all socal people do. Then the lights shut off and the building leaped a few feet forward and then back to where it was, in relation to all the student desks. My head flew back and then it slowly returned. That one was normal up until the ground moved so fast. The power was out in our building so we all got to go home. That was the first time I have seen everyone get their phones out to guide themselves out of a building. No windows in there
