The frame number (JE0106MM) on my CR makes it an early (within the first 50) '91 bike.
I have just bought some new works connection frame guards for it, and they're marked on the packet as 90/91/92 CR125.
Thing is, the don't fit.
They're close, but not right.
On the left, the lower bolt into the chain roller is a few mm too far towards the footpeg. Also the guard doesn't follow the frame profile correctly.
On the right, there's a small intentional crease in the guard to follow the frame. If I straightened this, it'd be closer to being right.
Of course I don't want to have to modify new guards.
Is there a subtle difference in these years of bike, or have they accidentally packaged the wrong items??
Could these be for a 250?

Not entirely enamoured with the alignment on the LHS, as the swingarm spindle hole isn't concentric with the spindle end.
Such is life, better than boot rubs up my frame.
