@pete24 exactly like yours! Ordered the kits last week! Only problem is I bought all these parts and I changed my mind halfway through, the UFO kit just doesn't do it for me like the vdlaar kit does!

Hey guys shit sorry I haven't posted but I had a local guy stroke me a cheque for everything for his kids bikes and I couldn't refuse, currently everything is sold! I do have subframes that are mint for both the 125 and 250 if anyone is interested I will let them go cheap!

Just a shot in the dark, but you wouldn't happen to have a linkage kit to fit a 2006 yz250?

SeanBrown,

Will the tank alone work with the rest of the stock bike? I want to buy only the tank, so I need to know if the stock yz seat will fit the vdlaar tank.

I don't believe It will Sad I think you need the yz250f seat as well to fit but then the subframe is also a required piece, which means airbox and the whole kit! I have seen a picture of another bike that has something similar to what your wanting and I believe it's an Italian company that builds them, it's a tank that allows you to use 250f style shrouds but keep the traditional yz rear end

Can you do me a huge favor (assuming you have the kit} and measure from the top subframe mount to the seat holder button thing on the tank? I wonder if a simple mod to the stock yz seat pan would work...

I'd also like to see the old and new subframe next to each other. I'd think someone with some basic aluminum TiG skills could make a stock subframe fit with minimal work, or slightly modify a yzf subframe.

I actually don't have the kits quite yet there still being shipped but the moment I get them I will post up those specs for sure!
