That is some total BS. Did Adam Cianciarulo get his Arenacross points in order to earn an endorsement to race 250SX? I can find nothing of AC riding arenacross.

Look at the dudes that have their licenses that are in the back 10 of qualifying at a SX, especially west coast Lites. Some are terrible, I don't know how they make it out of the pits without stalling. Those dudes would roll jumps in AX, just like they do in SX, and not qualify for the night show in AX just like they don't in SX. But they got their license somehow. Now, you either have to be Baby Jesus, or race AX to be out there. Not a perfect scenario, but it does weed out the complete squids and does get more entries into the previously dying Arenacross circuit.

I sure hope you're joking...
I'm serious as a heart attack. My opinion is based from the fact I've been a squidly SX practicer (never made the night show in my 3 attempts) and am now a mechanic and have been on the floor for many SX and AX practices and races. I really don't know of a more effective way to weed out the people who shouldn't be out there.

This is some double standard bull shit
And this matters to you how?

Also, she hadn't done WMX for a couple years.

@enketchum- AC didn't need to because this is the FIRST year where you need to qualify through "road to super cross." Like Visser62 said, both Plessinger and Hampshire had to qualify. All new rookies need to qualify through "road to super cross" whether you're a privateer or the next RC. If AC was turning pro next year, he would have had to go through the same thing as this girl. Quit your bitching enketchum. You're whining about shit you're not even right about. If this chick is fast enough to make the night show then all the power to her. If not, then it is what it is. She's already faster than me and most everyone of us on here already. There aren't any "double standards" trying to screw her over though.

@lostboy819- I like a lot of the shit you say on here, but "the next big mini rider" won't get an exemption. Being really fast does have it's privileges, that's why RV and JS have tons of guys making sure everything's just right for them, while other dudes are pitting out of their vans. I also have no problem with it. RV and JS got there by working hard and being fast. Being really good/fast always has it's privileges, but not from "the road to super cross."

Regardless of what the rules to qualify for an SX license are, she got it.

I wish her the best of luck!

Congrats to Vicki and her team. We need more more people involved in our sport if we are going to have the numbers needed to fight off more and more government intrusions, people trying to close tracks and working to prevent the opening of new tracks.

Male, female, young, old, anyone that loves the sport, we need them and we should all be working together, not fighting amongst ourselves.
