This was my first GNCC and the name lived up to it's reputation. This is what it looked like for mere mortals, not the Pros! I finished 3 laps and placed 2nd! Had the holeshot and lead until the mud section, after that it became a survival test. Only 2 in my class finished 3 laps. This is a long video and covers some of the first lap (before it really gets bad!). I'll post part 2 later. I did a decent job keeping the camera lense clean given the conditions.
Course was 12 miles, 4 of it was fields and it felt like 20 miles of mud! Not just one spot, but miles of it!! 2 hrs and 15 minutes on the bike... I almost cried when I came around after lap 2 and was given the 1 lap board!!

I'd much rather have the wet sand you guys call mud than our northern US mud....

I would like to try a GNCC this year. Not sure what class I would race, I race 35/40 B class mx but I don't want to jump in my first gncc and have to do 3 hours!
I didn't catch every fall or mistake as this video is long enough!

That kind of riding is absolutely foreign to me...I'm used to dust, rocks, whoops, sand...I wouldn't know what to do with trees, ruts, mud...just crazy.
Thanks for posting that video..
