Unfortunately, I have read some of your works.
I’m not sure how excited Ivan is to be changing bikes at this point in the season but I’m guessing he’s just happy to be racing. When the 350 project was first launched here in the States the bike still needed some development. In production form it has come a long way since the Alessi/Short days and I can only imagine the race bike version is exponentially better. If Ivan can channel the 250 rider that won him two 250 supercross titles and an outdoor championship he should do just fine. If he tries to ride the 350 like the bike he’s been riding he is going to have a hard time. You HAVE to be more aggressive on the 350 to see the benefits of it. It does have a lighter, more nimble feel than the 450 and, if ridden properly, that could be an advantage in super cross.
Here's a shot from A1. In this flat corner I saw a couple instances where he'd come in, grab a big handful, and have the back end snap around.
I asked around with the team, and was told that he chose to ride it. Ivan didn't dispute it.
I agree that Tedesco should be happy to have the ride, and line up with a Vespa if that's what they ask.
Pit Row
Quite the novel idea of fact-finding you did there. Was it hard? Do you think others might learn from your foray into investigative journalism.... ? Yeah probably not.
Hell the Lama may give him total consciousness too...
