The last thread on Vital had news that the track would be continuing, but they had some issues to work thru with the town - does anyone know if any progress was made, and if NEMA and NEMX would be scheduling races in 2014?

The latest meeting with town and school officials was scheduled for this past Monday, January 27. Continue to keep an eye out for an update, they may release a status update shortly.

If an agreement was reached, they may be able to squeeze in a race at the end of the NESC/NEMX 2014 seasons.

Totally unrelated and sorry for the hijack but Joko, I noticed your avatar pic. My family and I have been looking all over New England for reputable Dobbie breeder and we've come up empty every time. We either can't find one when we're ready (spring time) or all the pups have been spoken for. Do you have any recommendations? We want to wait until the spring just because we want to have the maximum amount of good weather before the dog has to spend some time in the house over the winter.

Thanks.

I bought my Dobe from a breeder in NH, who has left the business. Best way to go is getting referrals from dog shows or Dobe shows. IMO, it's hard to find a better dog, friend, they are very affectionate, love to watch tv with you, extremely intelligent and the ultimate security system !
I'll ask my friend where he bought his, somewhere in NY. I spent $1500 for mine, worth every $!
