Melted pant on Megabomb

Hey, just wondering if anybody's got some tips on how to get melted pant off a Megabomb!

scotch brite pad and wd ,40, if that does nt work , start bike get pipe warm then scotch brite it w wd,40 quickly.

or try scotch brite pad, contact cleaner., then wipe off with wd40

lol, true man, and also depends on the mx pants you wear.the cheaper ones, no leather on the knee, burn a hole right thru them. best to get the pant with leather knees, .guards are hard to find for the megabomb.. heat tape doesnt work that good and looks like shit.

good idea, but some might scratch it up, and not everybody has one.. easy to keep scotch brite pads and wd40 in the truck or trailer.

Scrape it with a screw driver, then hit it with the scotch bright pad

Thanks for the replies, after some time in the shop messing around with it I found a penny works pretty good, then hit it with the scotchbrite pad!

Try rubbing it with house hold tin foil. Has a great polishing effect, does not scratch. Wet it with a bit of water first.
