I couldn't see it, I really like this kid. Would love to see him on an Orange bike soon.
He is doing Yamaha proud, knows how to make that bike work.

That was one of the most nastiest wrecks I ever saw. I can't believe he walked away, damn.

He's what...17-18? I think dollar signs could get him to go anywhere, haha. And I wouldn't blame him. This sports too brutal and short lived so make your money while you can.

Why was he trying to quad single that on a 250f?

If you look real close he comes down on the 5th face in that section. Matthes was talking about it on the prerace podcast cuz they figure how what to call it since no one ever does more than a quad, haha

I dont get comments like this. It is not how fast your are going that matters...it is how fast you slow down! Sudden stops are what matter.

Recall when Dean Wilson crashed at Indy. Everyone was saying it was no big deal (except Emig...he KNEW)...but as soon as I saw that...I figured he HAD to have broken some major stuff up (in fact...he broke his back, shoulder and collapsed a lung). In fact..their were some idiot threads on here saying Deano was faking it...because the crash did not look that bad...which shows that many people have no idea what makes a crash bad.

If Coop had planted into the face of a jump at that speed...he could have been killed...but as it was...he landed on flat ground....and slid...so his forward speed was of no consequence. The height down to the flat is what mattered...not the speed.

I was up in the press box and you could see the case marks in the dirt from the initial impact that caused the crash. Gnarly indeed.

I understand what you're saying, but still, it could of been very ugly even on that concrete.

I love that alt view. Cracks me up how he slides to a stop...and never even looks at the bike. Just gets up and walks away. Some of it was probably disgust...and he also knew his wrist was hurt. I think he was making a bee line for the Asterisk Medical Truck to get it checked out.
