On the Pre Race Pulpcast, they said RV lost his voice and might be under the weather.

He is sick unfortunately. Sucks we won't get to really see him @ 100%..

Nothing to worry about, RV always starts the season slow and he might not even podium tonight, but by round 5 he'll be in the drivers seat and have full control of this championship.

Pretty sure I heard RV say he was fine, but that it was the drier California weather that caused him to lose his voice.
