My Broc Hepler ? I'm from Europe so normally i should say that Tommy is going to dominate in the USA but i'm not that convinced in Tommy yet. Don't get me wrong, he's a grear rider but i doubt if he's great enough to go head to head with Dungey and co.

I think the guys running at the sharp end of GP's could handle the speed and intensity, but not the climate. Take a cold and damp Lierop for example, it would probably be the AMA riders struggling. De'Ruever proved there's pace in GP's, but he couldn't handle the heat and humidity.

Re mumhra's comments on Searle, I don't think he's going to be a title contender in his first season, but his style suits the American tracks, and he enjoys riding in the States more than any where else in the world. He could be a threat in a couple of seasons time, but we'll have to wait and see. Supercross will be a big factor, he's only ridden a handful of 'arena cross' events over here (he's not even entered Bercy), that could be a steep learning curve..

Martin Barr got 17th on a stock bike in Southwick he felt the Gps had more depth and that if he was on a decent bike he could have done better, Zach said it is hard to do well in the US unless you are on the top 2 or 3 teams but int he GPs the pace is alot more even becasue the bikes are closer and its more down to the rider which he prefers. He was hurt all this year in the US and sick last year, so it seems to me he is only starting to ride to his potential now with a goof bike and team behind him. Nice pleasnt guy to I think he could be a challenger next year for the title.
