How do i connect my GoPro to my iphone?

So i was just curious how i hook up my gopro hero 3 silver to my iphone 5 so i can look at photos and play videos from my phone so i dont have to go to a computer every time. i have the gopro app but it wont find my gopro.

you have to turn on wifi on your gopro and then select gopro app on the camera for it to recognize your phone. then go to wifi on your iphone and it should come up, when you connect the password should be goprohero

You can use your phone as a view finder but you cannot play back video.

I'm pretty sure you can. I know you can use an iPad.

With the latest update you can. At least I can with my Galaxy S3 and GoPro 3 White.
