My feelings aren't hurt. I understand that you are probably just a bit insecure about questioning your own government and that's fine. It's not like governments are corrupt or anything. Wink

Headline Story on the main Australian News website for this morning!

http://www.news.com.au/world/north-america/inside-the-saudi-911-coverup…

Doubt you will read that in the US, doubt you will never know what the real Saudi involvement was (19 hijackers on 9/11, 15 of which were Saudi nationals) as your government thinks you could not handle the truth?!? But then again, the US gov will never cover things up now will they? It's amazing that the sheeple can believe when the news tells them what to believe! Booga, Booga, Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Libya et, etc. Never anything about Saudi, I wonder why??

No problem, I'm sure you guys on the other side of the pond know more about our government than we do. Smile You guys make it sound like the people there are not from "us" the people. I actually knew a few people who worked at the pentagon at the time, a couple of them pretty high up (one a 3 star general). I know the "kind" of people there. If you actually knew the people in these agencies as well you might understand how k**kie these theories really sound. Smile

Which part of my text... " doubt you will never know what the REAL Saudi involvement was", did you not get???

The official story out of the US is that Al Qaeda acted alone, no state sponsors, however, The Saudis deny any role in 9/11, but the CIA in one memo reportedly found "incontrovertible evidence" that Saudi government officials — not just wealthy Saudi hardliners, but high-level diplomats and intelligence officers employed by the kingdom — helped the hijackers both financially and logistically. but yee'all knew that already.

Did you even read the story in the link provided?

Yes, I read the story and that speculation has been circulating around here since shortly after 9/11. It's not really any surprise although I'm not sure if "incontrovertible evidence" has ever been mentioned in the past. But my question is, did the Saudi's pay for any of the thermite or the energy beams or was that bill footed entirely by the US tax payer? Smile

You kidding, the US gov or the Saudis would never be part of that, we all know the official story, that a guy in a cave with a satellite phone and some chalk drawings conducted the biggest breach of US sovereignty, in history, so it must have been him!!

If the investigations and evidence led to that conclusion , then it would be dead easy.......but thats the point , there bloody isnt any , and what bit there is doesnt satisfy the official narrative..

The big issue is accepting that the govt serves their own interests, and not ours, and will do whatever it takes to ensure that carries on.

A lot of it is down to MSM being controlled by those that stand to benefit from playing the game.. and so most folk dont get to know what is really going on.
No evidence that it wasn't a government conspiracy?
Well there you have it.

I wouldnt worry, we see enough US reality TV to know where the bar is set.

Sadly , the flag waving mentality of the majority is enough to ensure that the current system will prevail.

I don't believe I've ever watched a single episode of any of those reality TV shows. All I ever watch is Ancient Aliens. It's great learning about how aliens along with bigfoot came down and built the pyramids, and anything else that can't easily be explained. Smile

Never heard of it, but it might be worth checking out. Smile Speaking of ancient aliens, I can't believe I didn't put two and two together earlier on this. Has anyone put forth a theory that it was aliens who came down and brought those buildings down? I wouldn't be surprised to see the guy who combs his hair with a pack of firecrackers do an episode on that. Smile

I'm not the one claiming to have all the answers. But I've seen enough to know that there are some questions that need to be raised. Of course, the first thing others do is call people names and lump that in with every other conspiracy theories to poison the well.

I guess in some people's eyes that an embarrassment or kooky.

What a shock. I like the expression "he's so far behind he thinks he's in the lead." To be clear I respect everyone's opinions and don't belittle those who I don't agree with. Hell I even went to bat years ago when Nerd and someone infamous not so anonymous poster anymore who were putting down carlosmacho for being a creationist I actually thought he was nuts like they did but I still respected his views and more so respected his right to express his views without being called a kook.

The problem is the people who think thermite brought down those buildings, or some sort of energy beam brought down those buildings won't play out what that means in the bigger picture. That is they will not propose the full scenario that their beliefs fit into. For example, I listed out a "sample" scenario for them based on the things they've said they believe in this thread and they won't even propose a full scenario that the smaller bits fit into.

Because when you do play it out then it become obvious how out there the theories really are. Take the thermite for example. One guy supposedly takes a couple of small random samples of dust from the general area. He supposedly looks at it under a microscope and found some elements that are also found in thermite. Now you have to make a great leap to say, even if it was conclusive that it really is thermite found in the sample, that thermite came from beams on the building and just happened to be some that didn't ignite and was dispersed evenly enough throughout the dust cloud to be found in every sample that was taken. Never mind the fact that a building has never been demolished using thermite in the past (that I have been able to find).

Now when you add in how many people would have had to be involved with something like that, when they would have been able to do it, why they would have done it, and why they would have tried to cover it all up by flying passenger jets full of people into the buildings. What other scenario can you come up with besides what I have listed previously in this thread? Here's the only way I can see it fitting:

1) Thermite was placed at key locations of the 2 towers and bldg 7 by some government agency either without being detected by or in cooperation with building security at those locations, even though thermite has never previously been used to demolish a building.

2) The government hired known terrorists to fly passenger jets full of people into the towers as a cover story to the thermite demolition.

3) They confiscated all of the video from the Pentagon so you couldn't see that it wasn't a 3rd passenger jet that flew into it but instead a cruise missile. They immediately went out and knocked down some light poles and sprinkled bits of airplane around the courtyard and paid off many motorists on the freeway to say they saw an airplane.

4) They plotted all of this including the deaths of thousands of Americans so they had justification to invade other countries and spend the tax money of all the remaining living Americans (at least the rich ones) on unjust wars.

5) Everyone involved has stayed tight lipped about all of this.

If you have a more plausible full scenario that involves thermite maybe I'll change my opinion but the above is very kooky to me.

I'm not and have never been focused on the WTC towers so can't relate to your thermite centric post.

Three questions for you:

1) Why were members of the Saudi Royal family and their posse allowed to fly out of the US when the skies were closed in the wake of WTC?

2) Why was all of the security camera footage confiscated that had any line of sight on the Pentagon on 9/11?

3) Why wouldn't GWB and Cheney testify under oath about 9/11 when Clinton had to about Monica Lewinsky?

These questions shouldn't make me a conspiracy believer only someone with some pretty basic questions. The answers to these questions wouldn't necessarily prove anything one way or the other but I would still love to hear the answers.

good questions... along with so many others.. If the official story is true , there shouldnt be any of those questions.

Also , there wouldnt be 28 pages blanked out in the 911 commission report that we are never allowed to see.

Just look at all those things that are plain wierd... put options on stocks that have never been claimed, security footage at the airports that doesnt show the hijackers getting on the planes.... the fact that the planes, especially 93 were so light of passengers.

Its all there to be looked at and verified.

My questions are about the film that started this thread and trying to nail down the thermite thing. We can certainly veer off into 1000 different individual directions but I was just trying to tackle one thing at a time. Thermite was what we were focusing on. Once we get that resolved we can move on to the other 999. Wink

For the purposes of moving forward... just accept the thermite as a given... the central peice of the puzzle, as it were. From there you have all the bits round the periphery, Silverstein buying the buildings for a price that made no sense at the time... and insuring them ... the fact that the planes just got to fly round and do what the hell they wanted , when on any other day , they would be shot down.. then there are the fact that people who should have been in the buildings on 911 , who were suddenly called away, the fact that FEMA was already in NYC ready to go . And all the other stuff. The stock options..

I accept your unwillingness to accept something that big may be a problem , but detach the idea that 'they woudlnt' and 'they couldnt' , but the past shows that they can and they have.
