Yes, and no toil.has a cheaper kit than the twin air system, both good products.

Now I have a rm & a rmz (I can inter-change my extra filters also)

Is saving $40 worth, taking a chance on a piece of shaving getting into your engine?, I figure if you can afford a $8000 toy,40 bucks won't make difference.

If you can do it right, why not. ????
-- it didn't take too long, plus it gave me a project to do while I was watching my daughter ride her bike(s)

I checked it out a day later to double check for any burrs/ etc. And if it didn't work out, I'd toss it.

True, saving money is a good thing, but I guess I am paranoid, saw a dude half ass his and some shaving got thru and you know the story now lol..$$$$ , over a $40 part. Funny thing is he had a ,$900 pipe on his bike and won't spend $40 on a simple part, smh.

This was my fear, I started pulling the mesh off and started thinking..... this could end very pricey with those little metal bits. Also the plastic bits that get all jagged! Worth the peace of mind for me!

All you have to do is look on a site that sells your filter and see if both bikes are listed.

The KTM stock cage from a 300 for my 4-stroke was about $4.50

Yes the filters are the same and the cages swap. I have been running an RM125/250 cage on my 2011 RMZ450 for two seasons with no issue.
