I've used a PC one on a stock practice bike and it worked really well and didn't require any mapping changes ( all though you'd benefit from doing that as well) noticeable gains throughout the powerband. IMO its a good all around exhaust. Not sure about the FMF system, I'm sure it works good as well.

everyone will tell you FMF or the yoshi.

I bought the DRD, and it's been terrific.

I work for a privateer and a couple months ago we were finishing up our motor package for 2014 on our 2013 CRF250's. We tested the PC, FMF, Yosh and Akrapovic back to back on the dyno. All the pipes were very close, FMF and Yosh were nearly identical, and the Akrapovic and PC had a little less power throughout, although they both are MUCH quieter than the FMF and Yosh. Props to them. We are running the PC Ti-5 because it was the quietest, but had better performance than the Akrapovic. I don't wanna deal with sound testing issues on race day.

IMO, buy whichever you can get the best deal on because they are about the same.

Think the pc look a better pipe but know thats no deal breaker

Custom motor package will respond differently than a close to stock motor, therefor Kyles information is not of use to you.

You want the Yoshimura pipe with a remap of your EFI. Yosh works directly with Hondas little bike team and I believe that gives them more insight into tuning the pipe, even to the stock motor, than anyone else. Yoshimura has free maps that you can view with their software and can give to whomever you pay to remap your EFI. They also have an inline module that lets you do it yourself.

Mapping EFI to the pipe (and fuel) is crucial to maximizing the money you spent on the pipe.

after some more reasearch i have to agree with you the yoshs are sounding like the pipe i need and would be riding with stock map for now... im looking at a Yoshimura RS-4D Pro Series its bottom end and midd range id like the gain im not bothered so much about top but dont want to lose any

Maybe I worded it wrong, but we had motors done on 4 brand new 2013 CRF250R's, and were dyno tuning them. While on the dyno, we threw on all the different pipes, wrote a map for each pipe, and ran runs. 2 of the motors were full blown motors, 2 motors were partial mod that run on 91 pump gas. All 4 bikes are set up with an R&D throttle body and Vortex ignition for mapping.

So with that, I find my info relevant to the question.

I believe it's MRD will build a pipe for what you want, exactly.

Hit up Eddie Sisneros for a remap..
