Search or email the guys at leatt it's a better way to get info. This thread will go from "experts" telling you to not get one..to "I'D be paralyzed if I didn't have one on". I wear one and don't ride with out one. It's my personal choice to wear one or not and it's your choice to wear one or not. Honestly email or PM the Leatt/atlas/alpinestar guys and get info straight from them and make your choice.
