Any word on what happened to Jerry Robin in his 250B Limited heat. He finished 18th in his heat, which seems pretty "off" for him.
Not sure exactly what happened, I just know he checked in in 25th on the first lap.

He finished second in his 250B qualifier and set the fastest lap.

It started raining early this morning, they ran through some races and then shut down for the day as the rain kept coming down. The Sun is trying to peak out between the clouds now, but the weather reports show more rain on the way later today.

I rode the SX track twice yesterday, it is not one lined, there are at least 2 - 3 lines in each corner, thanks to the sand. Watched a bunch of racing yesterday and saw a lot of side by side racing, lots of passing. Not sure where the 1 lined track comment came from that I saw in an earlier post on here. I would not consider it one lined at all. Looking forward to getting back out there tomorrow and having another run at it.

Wow, that doesn't look near as technical as usual. where did all the sand come from? No whoops?
I thought the same thing, seems more tame than previous years. Although, video never does tracks justice......always looks easier than what it really is.

as far as grids, I'm not positive on how many they take for SX side of things. there were quite a few classes that had divisions but I don't think I saw any that had more than 2 which may be down from last year. I was surpised how thin the 85 classes were. Should be a lot more on the MX side of things.

bummer for Bell and Alix, I was hoping for a slow day at work so I could watch a few but it didn't happen. I was lucky enough to see Tucker, Reznland, Hampshire and home state boy Sexton win today though.

I saw that Barry Carsten had a DQ. Also Neese had a DNF.

On RacerTV, Neese jumped into Carsten causing both of them to fall. BC jumped up and kicked Neese in the back before getting back on his bike. I was surprised at Neeses' move(seemed like he wanted to rush things) then I was even more surprised by Carstens reaction(probably led to the DQ). Seemed Neese may have hurt his shoulder.

I saw it! Almost fell off my couch and woke up the baby by screaming, "OOOHHHH!!!!!!!!" Haha, it reminded of Bubba and RC in 2005 at Dilla only a little slower speed.

Neese came around that left and squared up the inside mound and left it WFO. It would have been a brilliant pass except for the fact that Carsten isn't a ghost. It was a pretty violent wreck for both. The Carsten kick in the back wasn't quite as big as Emig and Larocco, and BC didn't seem too happy. I think they said Neese motioned to the sideline with a thumbs up after a few moments.

Got to give it up to the live broadcast, a killer looking Gatorback track and facility and incredible racing action.

Yeah, even Sean Hackley(commentator) mentioned the incident between Bubba and RC at Unidilla.

I was standing right there with my son and some friends and the whole front row of people watching was yelling at Carsten. After he did that he tried to hit him with the bike or roost him ,I couldnt tell what he was trying to do but he tried something.
The crash was Neeses fault and he even said it was but for Carsten to do what he did was a POS move. Im glad he was DQd.

Hey John Choate I went down with Ken and Brent East.We had a great time and plan on doing it again next year.

I'd love to race the Mini O's again. Hopefully I'll make back down there sooner or later. I've known Kenneth since the 70's. Glad you had a good time. It's hard to describe to some people just how big of a deal some of the larger amateur races are. If you haven't been, you should go to Loretta Lynn's sometime!!

These Amatuer National events are nasty! You'd think the 40+ guys wouldn't be that aggressive with each other due to respect. lol. But, I also didn't expect everyone to be so aggressive at high points qualifier this year in Junior 25+ either! These boys show up to race! That's what makes it fun!
