Thinking about selling my restored bike, what is it worth? Almost all fasteners are new Oem Honda, everything was rebuilt and refinished to look just like the day it was new. Since the resto bike hasn't been started, just sitting in the office

That's a beaut, and looks really well done. Folks are starting to ask a lot for these on EBay, not sure they are getting them. You might find the right person who would go 5K, but it could be a wait.

Unfortunately the way the market seems lately you will probably only get $2500 - $3000 , hopefully I'm wrong, this unrestored 79 just sold a couple days ago and the guy didn't even get $1800 and it is in unbelievable original condition for a 35 year old bike

I remember seeing new '79 CR250's at the Honda shop in '81. They were blowing them out of the warehouses at $650.

Lincoln is not that far away, PM me your bottom dollar. I Dont think we would be close on price as you don't really need to sell it as you are just thinking about it.

My top dollar would be $1800.00 I know that is way lower than you would even consider and I bet you have three times that just in parts not including labor but I am looking for a " to good to pass up" deal and not pay even close to retail or market value. It is a great looking bike and I would keep if I was you, it doesn't sound like you need to money so I would keep it because I think you would regret selling it.

A buddy of mine picked up a mint condition unrestored 79 last year for $3,500. I would think that your bike would probably be worth at least that much.

This all original CR250 had been only run for about 20 minutes and then put in storage for 25 years and it sold for $8900.00 on ebay
