Maybe I knew people who were my age and followed the dream, spent a few years trying to be pro motocrosser and now they're banging nails. Hey, if spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to wind up on the top of my roof in the middle of the summer working with a bunch of convicts, drug addicts and drunks sounds like it's worth it to you, good for you.'
I'm not even a parent and I get it.
Not EVERYONE is mortgaging the house (Especially these days) & you're missing the boat on the idea of pursuing a dream.
True: Some parents Live thru the Kids abilities (or lack there-of)...
But, you threw down some seriously F'd up and shitty comments when you started all of this. See my "read" on golf-courses...etc. It's ALL true. Been there, Done that...chased the girls around the golfcourse. Live on one of those wasted-spaces, now...'cause it's got the view of the beach that I wanted. I have to walk out back and tell those idiots to STFU all the time. Even cost one of those douchers his membership...Note: ya shouldn't threaten your fellow members.
Still laffin' my ass off on your Social-Ladder assumptions.

You can call whatever you want stupid...but don't ever call my friends white trash.
Hell, maybe we'll team up on Kevin during said protest when the time comes at A-1 !?
sorry, i just think forgoing education for a dangerous career that doesn't offer any financial incentive is trashy.
It just shows poor parenting, IMO.
Im not the only one who feels this way, there are others on here who've stated the same things, they are no less of fans because they see the truth and are logical.
The last place i'd want to be right now, especially in this economy is trying to sell myself to a potential employer and explaining how I spent the past 5 years of my life pursuing a professional motorcycle racing career.
You're still throwing an awful lot of crap and generalities out there.
Poor parenting, etc. ...as if it's the "Rule".
No worries.
but you're right to some extent, most people who study liberal arts are dumb and un-motivated
So, during some last-minute Pre-running with my Adaptive-X lil'-bro-friend-bad-ass, Todd Thompson, last Thursday...just outside of Ensenada...guess what happened to me...?
Big Ol' Boobie-Flash as I ride by a pick-up while splitting-lanes on the way back to town! And she was a damn good looker, too!
Have I told ya how much I love Baja?
Anyways, since we're "Slightly Off-Topic" and stuff...
Pit Row
For one obviously any parenting advice you have would suck.
And for two it's obvious that all you want to do is argue. She said absolutely nothing about liberal arts. It seems to me that you just think your king daddy shit on everything and everyone else's decisions ideas or opinions are wrong.
P.S I have a liberal arts degree too
Is that Painting with A LOT of paint...applied liberally, of-course?
But it's ok cause your a manager..... At walmart
Sorry you set yourself up for it
Look, I am in my mid-to-late 20s and see many of my peers struggling in life, they are educated and working for minimum wage if they even have jobs.
It's SUPER important to get the RIGHT education these days or some type of vocational training when you're young. These ain't the glory days of my parents, the competition for jobs these days is FIERCE!
I don't mean to rain on the parade but I will never agree with stupidity. And I LOVEE motocross and motorcycles, its all I think about it but I'm past the stage in my life where I'd want to pursue it as a career.
I just said that because most of my class mates were dumb and lazy. I'm the exception, not the norm. I'm not lucky either, I just worked smart through college and didn't do the typical "barista internship" that most college kids do these days.
You know? "Let's get Physical".
We split hairs-n-such. Kinda..like "Light at the End of the Tunnel"...well...a really long tunnel. About 2 miles...well...3.2 km, actually. It's not very liberal. You either make a hit or it fizzles.
