Are there any tank graphics that will last at all on a plastic tank? Not looking for full graphics, just the Honda wing for my 84 CR. What did Honda use?

What size bike? I know the 80 and 500 had tank decals while the 125 and 250 had them on the radiator shrouds. Looks like Honda may have used the same decal between them all.

If you're going for an OEM look, this seller on eBay has replicas of the original decals: Honda 1984 fuel tank wings

I've never purchased from them, but judging by their feedback they may be your best bet for quality decals.

So why did the tank decals stay on my 84 for 8 years until I sold it? Never drained the gas or did anything special. It would be interesting to know the composition of the originals.

Don't know. Maybe the originals were just better.

All I can think is must be so Brett. I had it from new and flogged it well and they stayed put. Is that a 450 in your av?

Thanks guys.

I though the originals lasted a long time, someone has to make something comparable.
