Has anyone tried these bars? Thinking about trying a set and just wondering what everyone thought of them.

I have a set and I'm really am impressed with there amount of flex and vibration damping. There 1 1/8 vs a Fat Bar is night and day there is a lot less feed back on the Mika bars vs fat bars.

Constructed from the highest quality aerospace aluminum for maximum strength, the pro series handlebar is also engineered to "flex" for reduced arm fatigue. Mika handlebars contain multiple applications for personalized fit, and are also available in 7/8" and 1 1/8".

Renthal twinwall don't flex at all, pro taper and Fatbars flex but in my opinion I had less feed back when I run the mika bars vs Fatbars.

I remember when Pro Tapers came out back in 1991 (an Answer brand?)... the thing everyone talked about was how they "flexed"... it was a foreign concept to us and all the geezers said that they would snap with no crossbar.
CR High bend renthal 7/8 for me please.

I'm no metallurgists, but that sounds like marketing speak.

What exactly is "highest quality aerospace aluminum?" Sounds like a pair of Renthals with a new lable. 7/8 bars flex, 1 1/8 bars flex less. More material = less flex.

Run brands back to back and I bet it would be the same. Compare twin walls to regular bars and I bet you will make changes to the forks.

There is a big difference in types of aluminum used between bars. Of course they look the same, there is only so much you can do with the shape of a handlebar, but the difference in quality will be noticed when riding or laying the bike down. Like the other guys said, it's a good bar.

I just copied that off there web site, there good bars I have a spare set of RC/Honda OE bend sitting in my garage.

Cool. I am familiuar enough with metals to reconize that there are differences. Are they Made in America?

Thanks for teaching me about them. Always nice to have a choice.
