Which big bore would be best if you are going with cams and head work also?
I have a 2011rmz250 I am thinking about putting one on.

I have not had it done on your make of bike, but I did have a couple of them done on Yamahas. I enjoyed the 262 Ice Cube kits from RPM. They include a completely new redesigned cylinder with extra cooling. They have worked great. Much more bottom end power with extra pull up the rpm range. I also did their 315 kit. It was great will huge power increase, but the trans would not handle it.

A 290cc big bore only? Never seen one that big. I have tried a 283cc big bore 250F and thought is was way to torquey and felt flat on top, went back to a 276cc. I had a 276cc Ice Cube on my 2007 RM-Z250 and loved it, also had Cams, head mods, and custom piston. Got lots of looks too!

I can tell you that the the 270cc will work very good and pretty much keeps the stock power curve just stronger everywhere, the 290 will need cams and head work to make is rev like the stock motor does as the large piston really hurts the revs. Here is a big bore review also
