I am in Buffalo so I'll be passing right by.
The problem is I have to be there tomorrow night and I have to get a few shots of some am riders on Sunday.
I wish I could man but its a 3 1/2 day event for me.

51 is about 30 minutes from here. I drove past it several times but never stopped. It looks cool.


just open riding as far as i know, im orginally from that area so i will be visiting family, but i got an invite to ride at paul carpenter's place\atomic's tracks so im driving up from NC with my bike and im going to hit 2 or 3 tracks while there. area51 was voted top track in NY for a few years now, so thats a 'must'. just trying to figure out a 3rd, i know frozen ocean is a possible, and there are a few others. i guess im playing it by ear.

Well since I am friends with the people who own it. I like Cohokton but it has a few rocks.
Once they get the rocks out of it that place will be nice.

Where is Paul's track?

Have fun man. When you get here it will probably be on the cool side. It was a mild summer for sure.

Area 51 is killer!!! Sweet uphill step ups and downhill step downs which are fun as hell. The one by the announcer stands is so much fun cause its just a lofter. This weekend is the big Can -Am National Event there and I'll be in the +25 class #470. Frozen is a must as well. I live about 20 min from there and it's one of the most professionally maintained tracks I've ever been to and I've been all over. They also have a fun little practice track that runs on Wed nights, Thurs nights you can ride @ Thornwood which is about 1hr north of Syracuse, and Tues nights you can ride @ either Motomasters in Mexico NY 1 hr North of Syracuse, or Savannah 1hr East of Syracuse. Its funny cause Paul Carpenter, Jack Carpenter, Myself, and a mutual friend are all partners on a Motorcycle parts and accesories store in Oneida NY so hit me up if you need anything while on your stay here in NY or if your looking for the good spots to ride. I'll be there Sat. It is about 2 hrs. for me. ShoujoKakumei, why must you travel by yourself everytime you go to a race. Between here and DMXS, this is about the 3rd time I've heard you say this. Do you not have friends that are into moto? Your welcome hang with my friends and I if you make it to the race. Who needs travel friends when you have friends at the track. Funny thing is my friends are traveling on after the race so I have to drive back alone myself.

I have 3 local friends who ride and they generally don't go to the nationals; I also don't really like them that much since I think they keep me around primarily to make fun of me when I leave. :x
