Honda CR 125 88/89

Hi,i want to buy a Honda CR 125 either an 88 or 89 model can somebody tell me the difference between the two model yrs.

'88 sucked and '89 was great....'88 was considered one of the weaker CF125 engines. The '89 was the first year of the "low boy" pipe that brought the gas tank lower for lower CG. I would look for an '89

What all years where the CR 125's the same body as '91? I found one on Craigslist and it looks like these. I feel like Honda never kept the same body style for more than 2 years though...

I believe '89, '90 and '91 had same body style. '90 and '91 had orange instead of "blood red" color. Believe teh '91 had white radiator shrouds.

Guess I was wrong, looks like '91 they changed the tank and airbox designs
