Ridge, No disrespect as you deserve nothing but. However, I agree to disagree. I think that RV has just gotten that much faster since coming back from injury last year. I KNOW Dunge is not completely comfortable on the KTM, but I also KNOW that he was not happy with the Suzuki in 2011 either. In fact he was very unhappy there in 2011 but it was more than just issues with the bike. Put it this way we are very lucky that RD5 did not have the same thing happen to him that Brett did. Going from RD the man to Mike Webb is like going from a Rolls Royce to a Kia!

Hey thanks man!

It sounds like you get some good info...I'm surprised Rob (RG3) hasn't figured the problem out. He's one of the sharpest guys I know.

I'm a Dungey fan (and a Suzuki fan) so I'm a little butthurt that he wasn't closer to RV.
Now those are a couple of things I can agree with. I can promise you this. He is more butthurt than we are! I am a fan of the whole Dungey family as they are all great people! I am also a big suzuki fan even though I currently have a 13 kx250f. I really hope that RD can respond to the challenge and get closer to where he was in years past against RV. If you look back Ryan would of had both the championships in 11 if it had not been for mechanical issues. Which would of been 6 championships in a row! Dude is a beast and will be back in the fight soon enough!

What will be said if DM18 flounders on the KTM? Does blame go to the surgery or the bike?

I'm not saying the KTM is garbage at all, but that Suzuki has proven itself with quite a few different riders.

Trying to blame the bike is a bit ridiculous, that KTM is probably the most tricked bike on the track. They just don't have the settings for that high of speeds, last year he cruised to the wins & it cost him. He should have rung that things neck last year, and he might have repeated this year.

What would you consider was the bigger change since RD and RV battled last, RV's Kawasaki or RD switching from a championship winning Suzuki to a brand new, unproven KTM?

Yeah, what a ridiculous thought.
Well after RV got the new 12 frame in 11 Dungey wasn't really giving him fits anymore. RV pretty much upped his game when he started riding the then new '12 bike and it continues now. So who knows. Remember the MXDN third moto. RV pulled out 30 seconds on the Dung. So I don't know what's the difference.

Ya, how'd that Suzuki work out for him? How's that "Championship Winning" Suzuki working out this year? I seem to remember as soon as RV went from the '11 to the '12 he was untouchable from then on. RD is still beating all the same riders he smoked last year, by the same margins; if not by more.

So where's your logic, now? I am quite curious if you even have anything other than trying to put Suzuki up on a pedestal & KTM down in the garbage.
