Would putting a slip on fmf pipe on a 14 yz450f make the bike run to lean? Do you need a efi tuner??

It shouldn't but I know there is an issue with the 14 backfiring when it gets warmed up. call dr. D or jgr engine department and see if they have a map that will help you.

I know that the '14 stock mapping is on the lean side out of the box. one can adjust that with the tuner thing-a-majig...

I have a slip-on on mine and its runs better. It doesn't pop as much. They come a little rich not lean.
