Really was a great generation, but they sure are annoying to deal with now.

Wish I was a part of that era, as opposed to the current one. The dirtbikes are cooler now ,but overall seemed to be a more fulfilling life then.

I don't know, the second world war was a pretty shit time to be alive. My granadad enjoyed his time in the second world war, but said wild horses wouldn't drag most of them back.

I personally think there are 2 greatest generations, the first world war generation went through absolute hell as well, even though all of that generation is gone.

My Great Uncle was in Patton's 3rd Army as a tank commander. Made the push across Europe, fought in the Battle of the Bulge, etc... Some of the stories he told me made you really proud to be an American and truly was the Greatest Generation.
