That is one of my videos from back in the DMXS "Roots" days before clear channel decided to threaten us w/ a lawsuit! Cool that so many people held onto them.

Thats my best bro Nealer at the 17sec mark on the line Cool

Yep, came across that and saw Neal in there and thought you might enjoy it along with seeing the old crew.

Didn't know it was one of your vids though.

That was great, Emig looked like a complete badass with that face guard.

How "factory" were Button's and Gaddis's bikes? Did they have trick parts on them?

That's one of my favorite vids of all time. I remember watching that race on TV that weekend almost 30 years ago. I've probably watched the replay 25 times and I still get the chills on that final lap when Button is reeling Gaddis in. Great memories. That was back when motocross was hardly ever on TV, let alone an 80cc battle, which is what I was riding at the time (Yamaha YZ 80).

I was young, but Button's bike seemed pretty normal for a CR. Gaddis and Antunez has the trick R&D Suzukis. I believe that year they had beefed up prototype swing arms. I recall hearing they grafted a CR80 cylinder to the RM80 cases for Antunez at one point.
