Four words. Jay. Uuu. Enn. Kay. If you think yours is done, get an OEM replacement or get a ProX rod kit and have it rebuilt.

I have used Hot Rod cranks for some time and feel they are as close to OEM as possible. Just remember that with any replacement crank you need to check it to make sure it's true running prior to the install. The cause for 90% of crank failures with low hours is it was not running true.

I can only give you my personal experience. I have one in my RM 125 and have had zero problems with it with 30+ hours on it.

They lasted over 100 hours in our 85's and then down to 60 or so with our 19 to 1 supermini motors. One of my Suzuki 125's just had an oem fail at 49 hours this crank was in bike when I bought it, and put together by a reputable builder here in Fl. I replaced it with a hotrods.

My mod motor cranks are done by TDC 2 stroke performance and he uses ProX rod kits and does improvements for oiling.

TDC used a Hot-Rod rod on our mod bike and I wasn't too happy about it...It hasn't failed yet but it only has maybe 15 hrs on it. I have had bad luck with the rod breaking on Hot-Rod crank kits and do not recommend them at all. I suggest go OEM, its not that much more money and they will last twice as long.
