I bought this on ebay, for fairly cheap too...typically a jersey like this goes for around$500 - $1000 depending on how much marketing the seller does.

The guy says it is the race worn jersey from ATL 2011, when him and James banged bars on the last lap. He also had a Baggett jersey for sale, is it the real deal? I think there is a decent chance.

All looks legit to me. Is the jersey itself printed with the name and number and stuff, or is it heat transfers?

Idk, the description wasnt very good. Just said race worn jersey of Chad Reed, I asked which race and he said Atlanta 2011.

I dont have the jersey yet, but Im hoping its the real deal. I know similar Dungey jersey sell for $800 plus (trust me Ive bid on 3 of them, I once bid 990 for one).

it looks printed for sure, you can see through the numbers, and the dirt stains look a lot like the color dirt in the bottom photo. i think you just got a killer deal on a badass jersey

A lot of those types of jerseys that fetch big money are at benefit or charity auctions. They'll pop up on individual auctions from time to time for a lot less. Gotta keep watching, sometimes you get lucky! Only thing about paying a grand for a jersey is that eventually, a few year down the road you won't be able to sell it for a couple hundred if you did decide to sell it.

Im stoked I won the thing, big Reedy fan here...been a fan since 2002, I wish I woulda bid for a 2002 Budds Creek #103 jersey that was on ebay a while back. I think it was Buy it Now for $250 or $300.

@newmann, trust me I think its pretty crazy to pay for a Dungey, VIllo, Stewart, Reed, RC, etc. jersey for more than $500 but I would. Im not looking to sell, looking to start a collection. I think this will be a nice starter.

That does look like his sig, i've got a few bits of Reedy memorabilia...

Looks legit to me, now the cool thing would be to put it up for Road2Recovery!

Most gear companies don't do heat transfers anymore. They will actually make a run of jerseys custom cut for the rider with all the logos printed on now.

Jersey looks legit to me....especially comparing to the photo.

It's cool you know exactly where he wore it and can get picks of him in it. That's makes them cooler than just knowing it was race worn.
