I haven't seen anyone mention this and when you go to point out the waste of bandwidth realize that you are adding to it.
The first American AMA national race at MX338 was won by Dutch rider Pierre Karsmakers(couldn't find the moto breakdown but I'll just assume he won the first), the last by German rider Ken Roczen. Driving distance between Karsmakers hometown of Waalre, Holland and Roczens hometown of Apolda Germany is 338 miles(American measurement). Mapquest says 328-342 depending on route. Feel free to amaze your friends with this well though out piece of motocross trivia.

If you add up the distance from John Dowds house to Southwick, Mike Browns house to Muddy Creek and Mike LaRoccos house to Red Bud you get 37 which is the exact number of Outdoor National wins those three riders have combined.
