Sorry about the picture quality, it was the only one my dad was able to take in the time he was there, but I figured I would share it because I thought it was pretty wild.
My dad recently lost his shop due to a forest fire here in Colorado, we had all of our bikes in it when it went up. I honestly thought there was going to be a little more left than what there was. This shot is our 07 CRF450 and 98 CR250, which were sitting beside each other.

Hopefully this picture is the closest any of you guys get to anything like this happening.

My aunt and uncle live in Black Forest. They evacuated and didn't know the fate of their house for a few days. It survived.
I supposed if I were a scientist type I could figure out the temperature of the fire by what it did and did not melt. Aluminum frame melted, engine didn't. I'll venture to say that it got pretty damn hot.

Glad to hear your families place, and glad they are alright. It's just a terrible deal all around, it's a shame so many people lost their homes/property.
I guess there was a flare up about 20 minutes ago that was bad enough to have multiple fire departments called out, hopefully they can put that out before it gains any ground.
Aluminium, Melting point
Crazy picture. Glad to hear everyone was okay.
At least the kickstands are intact and salvageable!
