So I picked up this '75 MX400 (nope not my Camaro!) with the intention of using the wheels and forks on my MX360.

On the MX400 the rear rim is in great shape but upon closer inspection it seems the front rim has had a dozen cracks that have been welded up. So I figure I'll use the hubs as they are magnesium and have them laced up to some Akronts. I know the Akronts weigh a ton but I just love how they look.
Have any of you had any bad experiences with the MX400 magnesium hubs?
Now I believe it was Newmann who told me a few years back that the MX400 forks were an improvement over the MX360 and with a quick measurement they seem to have approximately 1.5" of extra travel.
Lastly, I was planning on using my MX360 forks, triples and 21" front wheel on my '74 MX100 as it seems the head tubes are identical.
Have any of you, maybe 'project racer' ?...had any problems with that swap?
Thank you as always!!

So I'm definitely planning on using the wheels and some other bits and pieces.
2TYam27: If you're interested in the electrical system lets work out a deal. As far as the 400 rear brake pedal goes I was planning on keeping it for my 360 and I'm not sure if the 400 rod will work on my 360. Stay tuned!
Project Racer: The tank on my 360 is really clean, same with the tank on the 400. I'd rather see the tank from the 400 go to someone doing a restoration or etc. It's mint!!
