Thought this would be a cool subject since I got chatting with FastEddy in a "slow internet" thread about projects and didn't want to hijack DJ's "building the garage" thread.
Here is a few pics of my Gazebo I'm doing when I feel like it

Plan on putting a tongue & groove lid on it with stone in the back (right of flowers) with waterfall into back of natural gas fed fire pit and a HD TV with surround sound of course. eventually it will have a lid connected to the house where the Master bed is at. be nice to get in and out of tub in a private setting

Keep us updated on the project.
The waterfall part also sounds interesting also. I like that sorta stuff.

Bill, that's one bad-ass project you did. Are you going to completely enclose it, and if so, will there be a way to get the jacuzzi out if it needs to be replaced? That concrete looks nice. Been thinking of doing some counters, and was wondering how tough it is to seal and create a great finish.
This table looks trick! are the doors powder coated? What kind of work do you do? That kitchen is bad ass as well, Great job Man!
"Are you going to completely enclose it, and if so, will there be a way to get the Jacuzzi out if it needs to be replaced?" I am enclosing it mainly for privacy and that cottonwood tree you see in the pic. I don't want to cut it down because in the heat of the summer it's positioned perfectly shading my house saving money every year in cooling costs. I bought the Jacuzzi new so it will last but still I know they don't last forever so i plan on leaving just enough room threw the entrance of the deck to lay the tub on it's side and slid down the steps.
"was wondering how tough it is to seal and create a great finish". never heard or seen concrete on counters, the only part of this project I had subbed out was the concrete mainly because I don't trust myself to make the stamping look good with the different shades of brown.
Tell ya what john, I put down some marble flooring in my living-room (below pics) and was going to use it in my kitchen but opted out. I have 63 sq ft of it left. It comes in 3x3x3/4 ft sections and is called Forest Green. You won't find it around here, I had to have it imported from Italy at close to 300.00 a peace. I can let you have a couple sheets at a substantially less cost if interested.
Concrete countertops offer some serious creativity. A buck-toothed, arrogant guy that used to post here (I believe his screen name was "Hand Job", at some point) turned me on to them. Check out the images at the link below. Amazing opportunities.

So i thought these looked pretty handy , i have a pair already with a straight shaft coming out of the adjuster but i wanted the pivoting kind , so i started making some today
I'm serious!

So far i have the cost of the vise grips which was about 14 bucks , i think they get about 40 for theirs but im not sure the quality of their stuff .
Here's our little paver project. The front edge isn't flush due to tree roots.
This is a hot water heater recirculator I installed, very easy. About $190 at Lowes, you can set a time to come on that the hot water fills the line between the heater and a distant bathroom. You'll get hot water a lot sooner.

Good job.
Here is my home office conversion. The wife got accepted to nursing school and she wanted a quiet and comfortable place to study so this is what I came up with. Pulled up carpet, stained the floors, added taller baseboards, and added crown moulding. I also scraped the popcorn shit off the ceiling. Drives me nuts that someone used to think that was a good idea. The desk was used as a crate for display shelves for a retail store. I took it part and made a desk out of it. I also made the lights. It's wire suspended through rope and the globes are mason's jars. The desk is probably about 6" too tall so I need to cut the legs down just a bit still and I'd like to get a thick glass to use as a topper. Kinda difficult to write on the raw wood top.
Mr. X, I like the kitchen makeover. That's one of the projects I'm hoping to tackle but our kitchen isn't really all that bad right now. I'd just like to pour stained concrete counter tops.
Regardless, thats a badass gazebo/hot tub area. I'm guessing the way its enclosed Bill doesnt want to scare the neighborhood when he strolls out and disrobes to get in his hot tub.
Thanks for the nice comments, I plan on capping the Gazebo and attaching a Pergola to the house. The master bedroom is the sliding glass door so yes Sandberm when the nakedness starts I don't find myself on the internet.
Thats some really cool fabrication there IWrechalot, that tile work looks great. My wife is wanting to redo our bathrooms even thou I just did them 7 years ago....UGH!
Some great ideas in here keep up the good work guys!

Addition I added (had to drop 4 58' deep, 10" diameter piers to bedrock...holy shit)
All work was limited by my self-imposed allowance. So, it was more vanilla to appeal to masses (purchasers). Got the kitchen countertop granite on closeout. You can tell most tile is the cheap stuff from Home Depot...so added in the inlays to spice things up a bit. The master bath shower was a blow-out of an old steel single shower stall. That was my first custom shower (including pan).
I love customizing/remodeling. My old house (the one my ex still lives in) had some wild bathroom and main floor design. Stone, tile, marble, slate....all fun stuff. Going to do the master bath in my house within the next couple months. Want to do a waterfall shower with a bunch of heads in it.
I wish there were more hours in the day.
