I am making the trip(9+ hours). it looks like a great track but it seems pretty far in the boonies to have a good turn out.for casual fans. there is a organized practice on friday. Will that be crazy crowded mayhem?

It'll have a crazy turn out. But be careful on your way in. Drive slow with your windows down. If you hear banjo music turn around, you've gone too far.

Kidding of course. It's only 4 or 5 miles off the interstate. Nowhere near what I would call "boonies." But then again, I'm a local. haha

A good portion of the southeastern MX fans that fill up the Georgia Dome for SX will be out in full force at Muddy Creek. I would guess it will have one of the better spectator turnouts on the schedule. That area has been hungry for a national for many years.

I think it's about time for another riot in the pits the night before a race.

Could it be Muddy Creek that delivers?

haha Like I said, if you have your windows down you can hear what's going on. Squealing pigs are something you don't want to hear. Squealing tires on the other hand is completely normal and shouldn't be a reason for concern.

I live not far from there and I go to school right near the track. There doing a lot of road work in the area, so there may be some traffic delays during the weekdays (depending on which direction your coming from)

I wouldn't say its in the boonies, its pretty close to the main highway (I-81).

Hope I'm wrong but I think Mike is racing off road out west that weekend. If I am wrong, then he will top ten. Bank it.
