Very few jumps and not really all that challenging
Then don't go back. The 600-800 riders they have at all their events won't miss you.

Since this will be my first outdoor race. I'm assuming I can bring chairs, but what about coolers? Anything else I should and shouldn't bring?

And lastly if I plan on getting there around 9am would pit passes be worth buying or no?

It is/was old school motocross. Not a man made glorified supercross track. But yes, they completely renovated it just before the nationals. From what I hear they're still not done.

Bring lawn chairs, coolers and a ton of WATER! It will be hot! Pits are cool if you have never been, you get to talk with a ton of ppl in the biz. There will be a VIP section, I'm sure, as there always has been at other tracks, you will not be able to enter that without the correct pass. but pretty much its a free range kinda deal, come and go as you want. You can sit in a lawn chair all day at the side of the track should you wish. The pits will close and there will be a time when you cannot get in.

Yeah I didn't mean I didn't like it.
I just think the way it was in 06-07 it wouldn't show the true talent of the pro riders.
