Still, Alessi looked pretty good that year. It would have been interesting to see how that championship turned out if Mike stayed healthy. Could he have held off Reed?

Im not sure.....Reed sure looked good on that Suzuki.....personally I think he looked his best on that bike. He would have been tought to beat for the 800.
